You're all on a "let's crucify Sakho" mission so I'll just throw this one in from Get French Football News. And remember Rennes made an offer which was turned down and came back with a bid "meeting West Ham's valuation". So he and his agent flew to Rennes and took and passed the medical. Imagine a player turning up at WH unannounced for a medical? All just on his own say so!!!!
Think again about this. What is bullshit and what is fact? I don't know but I smell bullshit. Just because journalists say Sakho did it all off his own back doesn't actually make it so. Our owners have been known to tell fans a lot of porkies and I think this is likely to be one of those times. That's all.
Diafra Sakho future up in the air
Diafra Sakho is very much in limbo at the moment. He is currently in Rennes awaiting a decision on his future.
He was the subject of a £9m bid by Rennes, meeting West Ham’s valuation of the player. He then arrived in France on Monday and underwent a medical at the Ligue 1 club, fully expecting the deal to go ahead.
Then later in the afternoon, West Ham Chairman David Gold tweeted that Sakho is a very important player to the club and must remain. Then this morning, Sky Sports placed all of the blame on the player by stating that he was pushing an unauthorised deal through.
Sakho is of course in Rennes, and so he is not attending training with West Ham today.
Mixed messages coming out of the London club…

We need Sakho more than he needs us right now. Yes he's a mardy cunt, but he scores goals and knows this league. Hernandez will get injured at some point or possibly sent off, which could have been the case against Newcastle.
A decent Manager might be able to resolve this, but the bridges are probably already burnt with Bilic.
